Got a code?
Get the installer.

TunnelIQ is in a closed friendly pilot. Type your tester access code below and we'll start the download. No code yet? Email [email protected] with the project name and team size.

Mac, Linux, iOS, Android visitors: the desktop installer is Windows-only. Once a colleague installs TunnelIQ on a Windows site-PC they'll share a TIQ-XXXXXX pairing code. Use that at tunnel-iq.com/join to connect from any phone.

Or skip the install entirely

Just want to look around before you commit a laptop? The staging environment runs the full TunnelIQ backend in the cloud — no install, no pairing code, just open it in any browser on any device. Pre-seeded test accounts let you walk through the planner, constraint board, and TBM hub.

Install on the laptop

Four steps. Five minutes.

The first-run wizard guides the rest. If anything looks off, the app shows what to do — never a stack trace.

  1. Download TunnelIQ-Setup.zip using the verified link above.
  2. Unblock the zip first (this is what skips the SmartScreen warning): right-click TunnelIQ-Setup.zipProperties → near the bottom, tick UnblockApplyOK. Skipping this step still works, but you'll need to click More info → Run anyway when SmartScreen warns you.
  3. Extract the zip — right-click TunnelIQ-Setup.zipExtract All…, accept the default folder, click Extract. You'll get a folder containing Install TunnelIQ.cmd, TunnelIQ.exe, and a few helper files. Important: don't double-click Install TunnelIQ.cmd from inside the zip preview window — Windows only extracts the one file you clicked, so the install will fail. Always extract first, then run from the extracted folder.
  4. Double-click Install TunnelIQ.cmd in the extracted folder. It installs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\TunnelIQ (no admin needed), drops a TunnelIQ icon on your Desktop and Start Menu, registers an entry in Settings → Apps for clean uninstall, and launches the app. The first-run wizard opens automatically — create your account, click Connect to mobile devices. The app generates a six-character pairing code like TIQ-7XQ94F.
  5. Share the pairing code with your crew. They open tunnel-iq.com/join on their phone, type the code, follow the on-screen instructions to Add to Home Screen, and they're in.

Future launches: just click the TunnelIQ Desktop icon. To remove: Settings → Apps, search "TunnelIQ", click Uninstall — or use Start Menu → TunnelIQ → Uninstall TunnelIQ.

Once installed, you're done

Bug fixes and new features arrive automatically. The app checks for signed updates from a pinned vendor URL — when one is available, an admin sees a banner with release notes and one click to apply. Your local data is backed up before any swap, and updates are Ed25519-verified before they touch the disk. You will never need to re-download or re-install.

Install on a phone

Add to Home Screen — looks native.

TunnelIQ runs in any modern phone browser, but it's better as a PWA: home-screen icon, no browser chrome, remembers the URL so workers don't have to retype.

iPhone — Safari

  1. Open the TunnelIQ URL in Safari (not Chrome).
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Confirm. The TunnelIQ icon appears.

Android — Chrome

  1. Open the TunnelIQ URL in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu (top right).
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Confirm. The icon lands in the launcher.

Android — Edge / Firefox

  1. Open the TunnelIQ URL in your browser.
  2. Open the menu ( or ).
  3. Look for Add to Home screen or Install.
  4. Confirm. The icon is added.

The PWA opens in standalone mode (no browser bar). Camera, microphone and geolocation work over HTTPS — for a LAN-only trial, the laptop auto-issues a self-signed cert; tap Visit anyway once on each phone to accept it.
